Aided in the design of a user interface to assist low‐income individuals in the San Francisco Bay‐Area
in finding jobs and housing. The goal of the project was to determine is metaphor usage in earlier
stages of the design process would help to evoke cultural nuances with potential users, particularly
when cultural chasms exist between underserved communities and designers.

Topic: “Content‐Based Image Retrieval in Multimedia Databases”
Based on Class Project. Created a Java Implementation of a Content‐Based Image Retrieval System
focusing on both Color Code and Texture approaches to retrieval.
